From the establishment in 1988, the
development history of Acelon Chemicals & Fiber Corp.
can roughly include several stages as follows.
Founding period : From July of 1988 to December
of 1989
Growing period : From January of 1990 to
November of 1992
Developing period : From November of 1992
to March of 1994

1.
Founding period: From July of 1988 to December of
1989
In 1988, a group of professionals with practical
experiences of many years sharing a dream raised
funds and established Acelon Chemicals & Fiber
Corp. The initial capital was only USD0.47 million.
The factory was in Pu Yan, Chang Hua, beginning
with the productions of nylon flat filament and
nylon air textured yarn . Later on, with the supports
from our clients and the stability of operations,
the increase in the capital was made in succession,
consequently, the paid-in capital was totaling USD1.8
million.

2.
Growing period: From January of 1990 to November
of 1992
¡@¡@In the aspect of improving the manufacturing
process, ACELON practically applied the HOY production
process which was the first domestically and successfully
developed HOY. That made the production speed
increase to 5000 meter, which was four times faster
than the conventional FOY. This was not only the
professional technical breakthrough in the professional
manufacturing of synthetic fiber, it was also
increasing the competitiveness for structure of
manufacturing costs. In terms of developing new
products, ACELON also had great achievements as
successfully and developed himself Nylon Trilobal
Bright filament . This has increased the domestic
supplies of high quality synthetic fiber and

makes importing
the expensive equivalent from Japan unnecessary
for domestic end users. Also, due to the stable
quality of the product and reasonable sale price,
the product immediately took over 70 % of domestic
market share right after the very moment the product
had been introduced into the market.
¡@¡@Exceptionally good product quality, topped by
the excellent operation ability and performance
of sales, during early 1990 to late 1991, ACELON
continually expanded the production scale of nylon
flat filament and built the warping plant, which
made the name of ACELON famous as a domestic integrated
manufacturing factory of chemical fiber. In April
of 1992, ACELON was evaluated and elected by China
Credit Information Service Ltd. as the third best
performance of operations and sales of 1991 in domestic
manufacturing industries which was a great positive
admiration for all the hard work and effort our
team had been making. With the continuous expansion
of production scale, consequently, in succession,
the cash capital increase and capital increase by
capital surplus had been made. As of September of
1992, the paid-in capital rose to USD 11 million.
In the meantime, the Securities and Futures Bureau
under the Ministry of Finances granted as an Initial
Public Offering enterprise. |

3.
Developing period: From November of 1992 to March
of 1994
¡@¡@In November of 1992, the construction of
FanYuan plant in which ACELON invested about USD
22 million was completed. In December the same year,
the testing operations for the factory were completed.
The factory accordingly joined the production system
and mainly produced new synthetic filament of polyester.
Meanwhile, the second stage of expanding construction
of the Pu Yan warping plant had also finished the
testing operations. Until this moment, ACELON had
established the completely integrated production
system of nylon, polyester and polypropylene filament.

nylon filaments is the
third largest manufacturing plant in Taiwan, while
the products of polyester filaments the ninth largest.
¡@¡@In the year of 1992, the turnover volume of
ACELON made a breakthrough exceeding USD31 million,
also listed among the group of the biggest 500
domestic industries.
¡@¡@In late 1993, ACELON had developed the pioneering
production of "self split" conjugated
micro filament, which also helped the end users
lower the process costs of "weight reduction"
in great proportion and promote technical standards
and competitiveness for domestic textile industry.

4.
Transforming period: From 1994 until now
¡@¡@It was, for the past years, all the hard works
of all the staff members of our company that made
ACELON grew step by step. ACELON has been consistently
performing well and making excellent achievements
since its cash capital increase factories expansion
and more facility purchases in middle 1995.
¡@¡@In July of 1995, ACELON
was granted the patent by the Intellectual Property
Office under the Ministry of Economics for "manufacturing
of self split of conjugate filament". In November
of the same year, the self-developed Ultra fine
micro conjugate filament were recognized by Ministry
of Economics as a dominant new product. In December
ACELON also passed ISO 9002 International Quality
Assurance Certificate of the Bureau of Standards,
Metrology and Inspection under the Ministry of Economics.
¡@¡@In 1996, ACELON obtained the patent with "Method
of cellulose solution suitable for high speed spinning"
from the intellectual Property Office under the
Ministry of Economics and became the first company
in the textile industry which had passed the examinations
on ISO 9001 International Quality Assurance Certificate
from the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection
under the Ministry of Economics. In 1997, due to
the thoroughly implementation of development, ACELON
was recognized by the Industrial Development Bureau
under the Ministry of Economics as an outstanding
manufacturer for developing new products and awarded
by the Ministry of Economics the manufacturing technologies
development award. The stock of ACELON had been
publicly traded on the stock market becoming the
new force of the textile stocks. In the very same
year, the factory expansion of Ultra fine micro
conjugate filament was begun. As of December, the
total amount of invention patents granted was 8.
¡@¡@In late 2001, ""Manufacture process
of cellulose viscous color reducing and polymerization
declining" was granted the patent by the Intellectual
Property Office under the Ministry of Economics
and that also made it the 14th invention patent.
In recent few years, our company continuously developed
functional products, such as far infrared filament
, moisture absorb and sweat expel filament, anti
bacteria and odor preventing, filament, bamboo charcoal
filament and so forth. And those products have also
been obtaining supports from the markets and continuously
been produced for orders.
¡@¡@In the end of 2003, our
company set up finished product department, the
New Fiber Department, developing and designing finished
new products for the market sale.
¡@¡@In 2006, according to the statistic data
published by Business Weekly on the 1000 largest
manufacturers, ACELON was ranked as the 529 place.
¡@¡@Though the competitions
in the synthetic fiber industry are so keen, ACELON
has still insisted on our quality policy: Quality
Insistence and Excellence Pursuit . We are devoted
to uniting from upstream manufacturers to downstream
end users together and developing the healthy, high-tech
and functional textile products to present the features
of diversity on the products, creating the most
additive values for the textile products. We believe
that with highly functional fiber material, we can
definitely highlight the difference and diversity
of our products from others and stay in the leading
position on the market. This is extremely helpful
for both our company and the whole textile industry
in Taiwan. |
